Gooseberries – mid July until beginning of August

Conserves
Our delicious high fruit reduced sugar spreads are available year round according to fruit production, seasonality is key in our efforts to remain true to our high standards. We make 4 main flavours;
Strawberry, Raspberry, Strawberry and Blackberry, and Strawberry and Raspberry.
Other seasonal flavours are Blackberry, Loganberry, and Strawberry with Loganberry, Plum or Golden Raspberry and Blackberry and Greengage. We hope next year to have blends with Rhubarb and Gooseberry too.
If you would like to place an order for our conserves, please call or e-mail Peter Dickie for a quote. Prices are £3.50 per jar plus postage and packaging. Minimum order 8 jars, but for larger orders we may be able to ‘do a deal’ re postage and packaging so please call for a personal quote.
We are now being stocked in more and more farm shops and delis in East Anglia and in London. Look for our conserves in the Greengrocers in Norwich, Jarrolds in Norwich, Beeston and Blofield, Picnic Fayre deli in Cley-next-the-sea and Goodies Farm Shop Long Stratton, Larners and Bakers in Holt, Back to the Garden in Letheringsett, Samphire Farm Shop in Blickling and the super chic Big Blue Sky shop in Wells: all in Norfolk. We are selling like hot cakes in Lawson’s Delicatesson in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, will soon be in the Suffolk Food Hall just south of Ipswich, have popped our jars on to a neat little shelf in La Hogue farm shop near Ely…and ! deep breath… we are also being stocked in the fantastic De Beauvoir deli in north london, for more news…watch this space!

Finally
We are members of the Assured Produce Scheme and SALSA which guarantee that all our produce has been grown to a high standard with respect to the environment and the health and safety of the consumer. We employ the techniques of integrated pest management and use biological control methods. We have a distinct policy to minimise the use of pesticides and to use natural methods of pest control wherever possible. This means our farm is a haven for all kinds of insects, birds and wild-life.
